World-wide patents testify to the state-of-the-art technology which has been developed by Enviromist Industries for effective weed control within the horticultural and viticultural industries.

Weed control using conventional methods can be expensive, time-consuming and subject to prevailing weather conditions. Enviromist provides an alternative.

From its beginnings in 1990 when Enviromist Industries first developed vehicle-mounted Controlled Droplet Application (CDA) technology, the company has experienced world-wide interest with distributors in the United States, Canada and South Africa and products sold into France, Spain, Argentina and Malaysia. Dealership enquiries are welcome.

Enviromist's CDA technology uses covered sprayers to provide an ultra-low volume spray through controlled uniform droplet size. This minimises both drift and wastage and enables the units to operate at any stage of the plant's growing cycle and under most weather conditions, except rain.

This increased control results in substantial savings to growers - a reduction in the cost of weed control by as much as 80 per cent.

Importantly, in an increasingly environmentally conscious world, the Enviromist technology allows for the use of systemic herbicides - rather than pre-emergents - helping to eliminate the build up of dangerous residuals in the soil.
